I want to share the passion I have found for CrossFit with all my neighbors as I wholeheartedly believe it is the pinnicle of fitness programs. That is why I opened where I live. We are more than a gym, we are a family.
I am involved in my clients lives. We have had weddings from meeting in our gym, baptisms for babies from parents who met at our gym and even, sadly, funerals for loved ones of our members. Motivating clients to transcend fitness requires that I be involved in their lives. This isn’t going to happen without my being both interested in them and interesting to them.
I have a passion for wanting to help people be their better selves and achieve their fitness goals, so what better way than becoming a trainer and a coach?
After graduating college it took me some time to finally find my niche in coaching and fitness – but I think I have found it here at CrossFit Beverly! I finally attempted CrossFit workouts in June 2019 and fell in love instantly! Being able to watch our most seasoned athletes and our newest athletes grow and become better is the best feeling knowing that I am a part of the change.
I decided to get my L1 in 2018 because I wanted to be part of the great staff and help our members change their lives. I say that because that’s what CrossFit, particularly, CrossFit Beverly did for me.
Over the years I have witnessed and experimented with the various trends of fitness, but I have yet to be as enticed nor as excited as I am with the ethos of CrossFit. The mindset to help our members and to maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere for all is unlike any gym I have ever been a part of. My goal is to make every participant in my classes smile, work hard and most importantly, have fun.
I have always had a strong passion for athletics and fitness, as I was a student athlete for most of my life! I graduated from Elmhurst College with a major in Exercise Science.
CrossFit Beverly has given me the opportunity to share my love of fitness and health by being on the staff! Coaching CrossFit has become an activity that I am extremely passionate about. Being able to coach our athletes brings me much joy. I believe coaching allows me the perfect opportunity to take athletes of all abilities and not only emphasize their strengths, but also help overcome their weaknesses.
I started as an intern at CrossFit Beverly learning about CrossFit and the operations of a CrossFit box. I walked into the box having no concept of what CrossFit even was.
After some time as an intern I attended the CF-L1 seminar to be a CrossFit Trainer. I have fallen in love with the idea of not only helping others in achieving goals, but seeing the process unfold before us. The opportunity to be able to assist those wanting to reach their fullest potential and overcome obstacles they never thought they would see the other side of is the reason I coach.
Welcome to CrossFit Beverly!
I found my love for CrossFit in November 2019. I joined CrossFit Beverly, instantly falling in love with the atmosphere and the programming.
Over the past years I was not only able to transform physical but mentally. CrossFit Beverly gave me a strength I did not know I had. With past injuries CrossFit Beverly was able to help me recover and make me stronger than ever. In June 2022, I become a trainer and it was the best one of the best decisions I could have ever made. I have found another aspect to CrossFit which has sparked an even bigger passion to improve and learn.
After a 5 year hiatus working a regular job, creating a couple of humans, and doing some soul searching, I’m excited to be back in the fitness realm- this time with more life experience and new perspectives on approaching health and fitness!
Previously I was a swim coach, a D1 swimmer, and a competitive CrossFitter who transitioned to coaching because I love helping others improve their lives through movement and exercise. Additionally, I have a special interest in supporting pregnant and postpartum mothers with their fitness journeys. I’m stoked to be a part of the CFB team.
I am a law enforcement professional who started Crossfit in 2013 to lose weight and help be a better officer. It became a life changing decision that would alter my family’s future.
I have lost over 50 pounds and credits Crossfit with improving my mental health along with physical health. I began coaching in 2019 as a way to give back to the Crossfit community and help others on their fitness journey. Now a Grandfather I am working hard to be an example to my family and have the fitness and energy to keep up with my grandchildren for many years to come.
Join us to meet your trainer, meet the other participants in the group and participate in a CrossFit class. We will scale and modify to YOUR ability.
