I am working on a Rogue Fitness order which I will place on Black Friday as it is the day Rogue offers free shipping on all orders. Weights and barbells are heavy and shipping is high on these items, so by waiting, we allow ourselves a few more items that would have gone into shipping. Ladies you can expect some new bars as I know we have been running out lately. We will also be reconfiguring the Rig in the coming days/weeks with some lower bars, per many requests, and more single bars for muscle up stations.
Join Katie N this morning as she leads a yoga practice designed to help us CrossFitters work on mobility, flexibility, improve athletic performance, improve respiration and energy. Yoga is an excellent contrast to the fast, high intensity of CrossFit and we recommend everyone come in for the sessions.
Holiday hours for the upcoming season will be as follows:
Wednesday November 23:AM sessions only. PM CLOSED, No Open Gym, No CF Kids
Thursday November 24:Turkey Bowl, Beverly Park-8:00am, BOX CLOSED
Friday November 25:Late AM schedule, 8am, 9am, 10am, 11am.
Saturday December 10:Boot Camp ONLY in preparation of the Holiday Party
Saturday December 24:TBD
Sunday December 25:CLOSED
The 6th annual CrossFit Beverly Holiday/Anniversary Party will be held Saturday December 10 @ 6:00pm. Please mark your calander and plan to attend. We have sent out invitations on both Faebook and through email. We hope to see everyone, even if it’s just a pop in to say hello, and raise a glass to another great year ahead.
“Bring A Buddy” Tuesday has proven to be very successful. Please continue to share with your friends and family to have them join us the second and fourth Tuesday of each month. Our next “Bring a Buddy” will be next Tuesday November 22. Guests do not need a chaperone and can attend any hour they are available. The workouts on these days will still be challenging to you all, our experienced athletes. However these workouts are easily scaled to all abilities no matter what their physical condition is. If you see the ad on Facebook pease like and share to spread the word. As this is now the new norm we trust you will continue to be the welcoming and inclusive group you have always been. So, If you see some new faces please introduce yourself and try and make them feel at home. We have all had our first day at the Box and it can certainly be an intimidating place.
We are having great success with filling the The Soles for Souls box next to the gray “casting couch” Thank You! We have already shipped six boxes and it appears we have another to send out. If you have old runnning shoes or other athletic shoes, you may drop them in the box. Thanks.
There has been a release of upcoming Comps to consider in the fall. Get a team or go it alone and show your CrossFit chops.
The Galt Games December 10 & 11. December 10 is Individual With many catagories. Rx, Intermediate, Novice, Masters 35-44, Masters 45-54, Masters 55+. Team Event December 11 (2 Guys/2 Girls) is Rx and Scaled. Click here for more information.
TO ALL PARENTS!!! Before leaving the box, if you bring children, please look around the area your children were in. If you brought with them chips, crackers, pretzels or other snacks; If you they got a cup of water; If they had paper, crayons or markers out; If they went in to the back and grabbed balls or jump ropes, if they turned on the TV to watch a movie, please clean up after them. We have brooms and dust pans in the laundry room. Please respect the coaches and staff to not have to clean up after your children. Much like you clean up your gear after a workout we would appreciate the same with the children.
