🙂 🙂 Happy Birthday Sean 🙂 🙂
Rest, If you attended and did 343 you deserve it and need it.
Congratulations to everyone who performed 343 this week. Thank you to all who came in and honor the heroes of 9/11 15 years ago. We will never forget.
We have a lot of new things coming up as we embark on our 6th year.
How would you feel about a Sunday morning “Yoga in the Box?” Please respond in comments to see if testing this would be something to pursue. I hope to have this starting soon.
Congratulations to Shelby and Curtis on their most creative “check in” on Facebook. Shelby and Curtis have won a $50 Horse Thief Gift Card.
Starting this coming Saturday September 17 we will begin our Pre-Team WOD Boot Camp at 8:15am. This is going to be a great new addition to the program!
If you haven’t noticed, we have a Soles for Souls box next to the gray “casting couch.” For those who have donated, thank you! We have already shipped two boxes. If you have old runnning shoes or other athletic shoes, you may drop them in the box. Thanks.
This Tuesday we introduce our first “Bring a Buddy Tuesday.” We have seen a lot of traction on Facebook as we have been promoting it and I anticipate some hearty attendance. This is an open invitation to all hours we hold classes on Tuesdays. If you have friends who can only attend 5am, bring ’em. While we enjoy and find value in the Free Intro sessions held on Saturday’s and Wednesday’s, we think to get the real CFB experience athletes new to CrossFit should experience a regular class. The workouts on these days will still be challenging to you all, our experienced athletes, however these days won’t have any technical difficulty which would be prohbitive to a guest. Remind your friends every exercise can be scaled and tapered to any persons ability, no matter their conditioning. If you see some new faces, please introduce yourself and try and make them feel at home. We have all had our first day at the Box and it can certainly be an intimidating place. Thanks, we are really looking forward to this.
With the new shirt order, I will also be restoking the mercahndise in front. Does anyone want/need a hoodie? Kate Z has asked for another order of sweatpants, would anyone else like to get a pair? Malopy wants dude Tanks, anyone else? Let me know either in person or responding to this post and we can place a large order at once. I am also designing some new shirts and hoodies which I hope to have in production soon.

TO ALL PARENTS!!! Before leaving the box, if you bring children, please look around the area your children were in. If you brought with them chips, crackers, pretzels or other snacks; If you they got a cup of water; If they had paper, crayons or markers out; If they went in to the back and grabbed balls or jump ropes, if they turned on the TV to watch a movie, please clean up after them. We have brooms and dust pans in the laundry room. Please respect the coaches and staff to not have to clean up after your children. Much like you clean up your gear after a workout we would appreciate the same with the children.
