As the weather gets colder we have possibilities of snow and slush. Please bring an indoor pair of shoes so not to track in salt and muck from the outside onto the gym floor. Wet, salty shoes wreaks havoc on the rowing machine foot pegs, the rubber floor and everyone’s clothing when they drop down in a puddle of someone else’s shoe muck. Thanks
For those of you who took the hydrostatic body analysis, you can use your data to get a dialed in nutrition plan. Even if you didn’t take the body analysis and you want to dial in your nutrition, our very own PJ, who is a certified nutritionist, is going to be offering his services to analyze the data and set you on a nutrition plan which will help in your nutrition goals. PJ is moving in to the former massage room and will be opening an office there. Whether it be weight loss, body composition change, weight gain, or nutrition for performance. If you are interested in PJ’s services, please email email@example.com and we will have PJ respond. 7 people have already taken us up on the program and we hope many more will too. We will be having the truck come back in March for a re-test for those who participated and for those who are interested in getting tested click here to find the truck. Or you can go to UIC’s Human Performance Lab and have the test taken there. If you are serious about making a change to your nutrition, having this data is a great resource for dialing in the proper nutrients customized for you.
Thanks to all of you who are “liking” the daily web posts on Facebook. It really is working and we are now reaching 400-500 of you a day which is a great boost. People have been telling us they are now getting the WOD posts on Facebook to come up on their newsfeed. This is great news, so please continue so we can expand our reach and share with the area our program. Your continued support is greatly appreciated.
December On-Ramp begins Monday December 2. Please share with your friends and family. Due to increases in operation expenses, Gym memberships will be rising on new members in January. All existing CFB members will not see in an increase in membership dues. So, if you have friends or family members on the fence about joining share that they can get in at current membership levels before the increase.
Save the date for the 5th (yes) 5, CFB Christmas/Anniversary/member appreciation party. Friday December 11, 6:00pm til the booze is gone. We will have catering and open bar to share our holiday spirit, 5 years of service to the community, and to celebrate you, the CFB membership, which makes all of this possible.
